Building an A35 race car
With very little money or skills to do so
This is where the story starts. Base car an 1957 A35 bought off ebay. No brakes but bodywork seems OK. First thing is to asses what I have. Seems a good little project to start with. Bonnet seems the worst thing but I have a new one to go on. Rollcage and Midget brakes first. Then try and find a small steering wheel to look sporty!

Lighter and sportier
Cut out every other grill slat to let more cooling air through
Light Make it lighter and lighter and lighter
What can we loose?, cut off? or drill a hole in?
If it’s lighter it’ll go faster – yes? Fiberglass wings, Plexiglass. Ditch the heater…
Wheels
Hard choice as not much fits within the rear wheel arches
13×5.5 Minilite copys for now but I’ll have to modify those arches. Or do I go for early midgetstandard Rostyles?
